With initiatives across the globe, we work in Brazil and beyond, partnering with local communities to bring Education and Hope, with special focus on the 10/40 Window.

“Where there is no future, we sow hope.”

Life in the 10/40 Window

The 10/40 Window is one of the most populated and least evangelized regions on earth. Stretching from Africa to East Asia, it concentrates the highest levels of religious persecution in the world.

Today, more than 365 million Christians face severe persecution—most of them within the 10/40 Window.

  • Islamic oppression – Converts from Islam are deemed apostates and face pressure from family, community, and state, risking imprisonment and even death.

  • Religious nationalism – In countries like India, being Christian is seen as a threat to national identity.

  • Dictatorial regimes – Nations such as North Korea and China impose extreme control and punish any expression of faith.

Main forms of persecution:

  • Tribal oppression – In traditional communities, converting to Christianity means breaking with ancestors, leading to expulsion and violence.

  • Direct violence – Church attacks, kidnappings, and killings, as in Nigeria.

  • Daily pressure – Bibles banned; barriers to education, work, and health care; and constant surveillance.

ROOT PROBLEMS WE FACE

Christianity and Education can walk together.

Teaching English and academic content matters, but it’s through principles like Faith, Hope, and Love that lives are truly transformed.

By uniting Gospel and Learning, we aren’t just transmitting knowledge—we’re cultivating dignity, confidence, and a future‑minded outlook for children and entire communities.

This union of Christian values with quality Education creates opportunities that go far beyond the classroom. It forms aware citizens, leaders able to transform their reality, and— above all—people touched by the hope of Christ’s return.

From this commitment, Angels for Education is born: an initiative that believes every child deserves to learn, to dream, and—above all—to know Jesus in a real and meaningful way.

When we bring faith, education, and action together, the improbable becomes possible. This is Angels for Education’s mission: turning impossibilities into new beginnings.
